The Accountant is responsible for recording, analyzing, and reporting financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations. The role supports the effective management of the organization's financial resources.

Responsibilities

·       Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely.

·       Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

·       Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, and other ledger accounts.

·       Prepare monthly account reconciliations and financial reports.

·       Process supplier invoices and payments.

·       Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.

·       Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.

·       Follow up on outstanding balances.

·       Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.

·       Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

·       Prepare financial reports and variance analyses.

·       Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·       3+ years of relevant accounting experience.

·       Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software and other accounting systems.

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel analysis and financial reporting.
