Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise procurement activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management
- Ensure procurement processes comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable laws
- Review purchase requisitions and ensure proper specifications and approvals
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives
- Mentor and supervise junior procurement staff
- Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and user departments to ensure timely delivery
- Participate in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract award processes
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years relevant procurement experience, preferably in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, contract management, and supplier negotiation
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage
